Nov 30, 2007 (newstodate): February 22, 2008, will see the launch of a new in-night logistics service, Jetpak by Night.
Jetpak has chartered a Fokker 50 from Swedish carrier Amapola, offering seven tonnes of cargo capacity on nightly flights from Eindhoven, Holland, to Gothenburg, Stockholm Arlanda and Helsinki.
Shipments to Denmark will be delivered by trucks from Holland in cooperation with the Danish logistics company DAN'X, while shipments to Norway are transported by truck from Gothenburg, Sweden.
The new in-night logistics service fills a void after the demise of the company Nordic Solutions that set up a similar concept but went bankrupt by the start of this month.
Originally a SAS-owned company, Jetpak is now owned by Polaris Private Equity that later sold one-third of the stake to Accent Equity.
