Nov 23, 2007 (newstodate): In October, 2007, Icelandair Cargo moved 3,619 tonnes of cargo, down 11.4 percent y-o-y.
Imports to Iceland kept growing considerably, but exports from Iceland and transit decreased during the month.
Thus, imports were up 17.6 percent, while transit volumes decreased by 15.4 and exports by 24.7 percent.
For the first ten months of 2007, 35,044 tonnes of freight were carried by Icelandair Cargo, up 4.7 percent.
During January-October, 2007, imports grew by 13.8 percent and transit volumes by 21.1 percent, but exports declined by 6.1 percent.
