Nov 9, 2007 (newstodate): The Russian airline group AiRUnion is in talks with CIT Aerospace over the acquisition of six Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.
If talks end with placing an order for the aircraft, AiRUnion will become the third Russian customer for the Dreamliner, following S7 Airline that ordered 15 aircraft and Aeroflot that has placed orders for 22 Dreamliners.
The first CIS customer was Azerbaijan Airlines that ordered three Boeing 787-8 and two 787-9 aircraft, followed by Uzbekistan Airways has earlier placed orders for two Boeing 787 aircraft.
