Nov 23, 2007 (newstodate): Copenhagen Airport has now produced its cargo statistics up till September, showing an increase by eight percent, y-o-y, in total volumes, 295,144 tonnes.
The fastest growth was in cargo exports, up 27 percent to 45,201 tonnes, constituting 15.3 percent of the total volumes, followed by a seven percent growth in cargo imports to 37,015 tonnes, constituting 12.5 percent, and finally transfer cargo, up 4.8 percent to 212,927 tonnes and constituting 72.1 percent of the total volumes.
In September, total volumes were 34,691 tonnes, up 3.1 percent, including 4,342 tonnes of imports, up only 1.3 percent, exports, up 30 percent to 5,807 tonnes, and transfer cargo, declining one percent to 24,691 tonnes.
