Nov 2, 2007 (newstodate): Volga-Dnepr Group is reporting record performance by both its charter and scheduled cargo operations in the first nine months of 2007.
The market for AN-124 charters increased
by 35 percent during the period, and the airline's share of the worldwide market for outsize and heavyweight air cargo rose four percent over the nine months to 56 percent, boosted also by its IL-76 cargo fleet.

carried 70,500 tons during the first nine
months of 2007, up 28.6 percent y-o-y.
The carrier's performance was helped by the arrival of two more Boeing 747-200 freighters in the first quarter of the year, and the opening of new routes to St. Petersburg and Khabarovsk.
