Oct 30, 2007 (newstodate): The Russian carrier Transaero has awarded an aircraft maintenance contract to Panama Aerospace Engineering.
Under the contract, Panama Aerospace Engineering will perform C checks and maintenance work on Transaero's fleet of 10 Boeing 737-500 aircraft.
Maintenance work on the first aircraft has started in October, with redelivery scheduled for December this year, and the last aircraft is slated for redelivery by the end of 2008.
The contract is PAE's second after its launch of business in May 2007 with Copa Airlines first on the order book.
PAE is a subsidiary of Singapore Technologies Aerospace.
