Oct 16, 2007 (newstodate): In 2008, construction work will start on a new passenger terminal at the Russian Tolmachevo Airport, at Novosibirsk.
ADPI has been contracted to design the building estimated to cost around USD200 mio.
The new 85,000 sq m terminal will have a capacity of handling up to nine million passengers.
In September this year Tolmachevo Airport opened the first phase of its new cargo terminal, designed to handle up to 150,000 tonnes of cargo annually.
Behind the masterplan for the airport modernisation is the German consultancy firm Obermeyer Planen + Beraten.
