Oct 19, 2007 (newstodate): The Polish lcc Centralwings has announced its decision to open two new operational bases.
Effective from summer 2008, Centralwings will operate routes from Krakow and Gdansk.
To facilitate the additional traffic, the carrier plans to add three more Boeing 737 aircraft to its existing fleet of nine aircraft.
After the set up of the new bases, the carrier, a subsidiary of LOT Polish Airlines and in the air since February 2005, will deploy six aircraft at Warsaw, three at Gdansk, and three at Krakow.
The carrier has said earlier that it aims at a fleet of 15 aircraft by 2010.
