Oct 26, 2007 (newstodate): SWISS plans to increase its service to Central Europe and Russia from its Geneva hub.
Thus SWISS will start thrice-weekly flights from Geneva to Bucharest from the start of next year's summer schedule, and the carrier will also add a second daily frequency on the route to Moscow, pending government approval.
To operate the new services, an additional SWISS Airbus A319 will be stationed in Geneva and deployed solely on routes between the airport and Rome, Moscow, Bucharest and Valencia.
