Jan 29, 2007 (newstodate): Russia's Ministry of Transportation has set down several tasks to be included in the planned upgrading of Vladivistok Airport.
Among the pertinent issues is the renovation of the runway and taxiway systems, and a modernisation of the traffic infrastructure providing access to the airport is also being studied, in addition to a new terminal.
All works are expected to be completed within three years.
Also on the agenda is the separation of the airport administration from the airline, Vladivostok Avia.
