Jan 9, 2007 (newstodate): NATS, the UK air traffic management provider, has won a contract from ROMATSA to provide advanced training to Romanian air traffic controllers.
The first batch of Romanian students will begin training at the end of the month at NATS' Training Centre at Hurn, Bournemouth.
A significant number of ROMATSA air traffic controllers are undertaking advanced training in order to enhance the safe and efficient use of airspace capacity to meet the predicted increase in the number of flights after the country's entry into the EU from the start of this year.
