Jan 4, 2007 (newstodate): Arkhangelsk-based Russian airline Aeroflot-Nord has now introduced its third Boeing 737-500 in commercial service.
All three aircraft, formerly operated by the Slovak lcc SkyEurope, are acquired under a lease arrangement with GECAS.
Aeroflot-Nord is owned 51 percent by Aeroflot, and 49 pecent by Aviainvest.
