Jan 3, 2007 (newstodate): The code-share agreement between Serb carrier JAT and Emirates covering trans-Atlantic flights from Hamburg offers potentials for cargo business as well.
The two airlines have signed an agreement on cargo transportation enabling JAT to lift cargo on both direction on Emirates' Boeing 777 service between Hamburg and New York.
JAT's North American cargo is then trucked between Belgrade and Hamburg that is served by JAT with smaller aircraft.
In this winter's program, JAT operates a fleet comprising two Boeing 737-400, six Boeing 737-300 and four ATR-72 aircraft.
