Jan 9, 2007 (newstodate): China Cargo Airlines has added Copenhagen to its route network from the start of the year.
The carrier, a subsidiary of China Eastern Airlines, has included a stop at Copenhagen on the westbound leg of its route between Shanghai and Paris three times weekly.
Copenhagen has been allocated some 20 tonnes of cargo capacity to and from Shanghai, with export shipments for China via Paris loaded on the MD-11F aircraft at Copenhagen.
ScanPartners has been designated cargo GSA for the new route that competes with Air China Cargo's Beijing-Copenhagen Boeing 747-400F freighter service operated since September 6, 2006.
