A total of 3,277 tonnes of cargo arrived on freighters from Istanbul, constituting 34 percent of the total volumes in 2006.
The airfreight consisted of textile exports from Turkey destined for Russia. After landing at Tallinn Airport the freight was transferred to truck services for onward transportation.
The #2 single largest airfreight destination in 2006 was Helsinki, aggregating a total of 16 percent, or 1,493 tonnes.
