Jan 22, 2007 (newstodate): British Airways World Cargo has announced an expansion by 40 percent of its European Shorthaul Freight Program.
With effect from the end of January 2007, the new schedule will up BAWC's weekly wide-body services from 32 to 45 across 11 European destinations.
Among other revisions and increases, the frequency at Stockholm, introduced from November 5, 2005, will go up from one to two weekly rotations.
The carrier's shorthaul freighter program hubs at Frankfurt, and Milan is now also being strengthened as a regional hub.
The new, revised program is boosted by a multi-million pound investment by the BA board, and deepens the cooperation between BAWC and DHL that hold the contract to provide the A300F freighter capacity.
