Jan 5, 2007 (newstodate): The Russian airline alliance, AiRUnion has had moderate success with its cargo business in 2006.
According to the latest figures released for January-November, 2006, aggregated cargo volumes were 30,626 tonnes, down two percent y-o-y.
The negative trend since July, 2006, has thus established itself.
The alliance's production on scheduled services, measured in tonne-kilometres, was up 12 percent during the period, indicating that loads are getting considerably thinner on AiRUnion's flights.
