Jan 18, 2007 (newstodate): Latvian carrier and member of the SAS Group, airBaltic is planning for more destinations in 2007.
Following on the carrier's announcement of the new route to Gomel, Belarusia from this spring, and in line with its decision to add "at least" 10 new destinations in 2007, the carrier has today revealed more new flights to be added.
From April 4 this year, airBaltic is to open direct flights to Rome and Athens, three times and twice weekly, respectively, and both operated with Boeing 737-500 aircraft.
airBaltic will also open four new direct routes from its Vilnius hub this summer.
Daily flights from Vilnius to Brussels will open on April 10, and four times weekly flights to Milan and Rome are scheduled to open on April 26, while flights to Zurich are set to open on 27 April 27, operated three times weekly.
airBaltic's fleet consists of seven Boeing 737-500 and nine Fokker-50 aircraft.
