Jan 19, 2007 (newstodate): Aeroflot has launched Russia's first fully-fledged simulator training facility for emergency and rescue training of flight crews offering both ground and water scenarios.
The Center at Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport is equipped with fully operational training modules of emergency escapes for Ilyushin-96-300, Tupolev-154, A320 and B767 aircraft.
Aircrew emergency training on Russia's most common western-built aircraft type, the Boeing 737, will as before be provided by Lufthansa.
The Centre will offer its services and ficilities to third party customer airlines as well.
