Sep 11, 2006 (newstodate): Stockholm Arlanda had hoped that the passenger route by Malaysian Airlines between Kuala Lumpur and New York via Stockholm would pave the way for a Malaysian freighter service.
Instead Malaysian Airlines will stop its thrice-weekly Boeing 777 operations at Stockholm from January 15.
Malaysian opened its route at Stockholm in November 2004.
