Sep 27, 2006 (newstodate): Latvian forwarding company Spedair reports good results from participation in this year's 4th Annual APLN Worldwide Conference in Bangkok this September.
-Representing the three counties Latvia, Belarus and Ukraine made us attractive to potential partners worldwide, and we had scheduled appointments with representatives of 37 companies from all continents, says Inga Brasla, Spedair marketing director, who represented the company together with the its managing director, Mr Agris Sedolins.
-The agents were interested mostly in business with Ukraine as the market of that country is much bigger. However there was some interest in the Baltics as well. Especially our potential partners were interested in transit via
seaports of the Baltic sea and SPEDAIR's bonded warehouse services to Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus and other markets in the region.
-One of the most interesting projects is expected on the route between Tel Aviv and Riga. Actually no company in this region secures regular traffic on this lane, but our new potential partners might be able to do so, says Ms Brasla.
