Sep 22, 2006 (newstodate): The Russian Krasnoyarsk-based airline KrasAir saw its cargo volumes down by three percent during January-August, 2006.
In total the carrier lifted 10,109 tonnes of cargo and mail during the period, but only 1,733 tonnes in August alone.
In January-July the airline's cargo volumes were on a par with last year's volumes, so the low volumes in August have started a negative growth.
KrasAir is a leading member of the Russian airline alliance, AiRUnion comprising Omskavia, KrasAir, Sibaviatrans, Samara Airlines, Domodedovo Airlines, and Sakhalinskiye AviaTrassy.
