Sep 19, 2006 (newstodate): Construction works on a new terminal at Yerevan Zvartnots Airport, Armenia, will be completed by May, 2007.
The new facility will double the current terminal's capacity to 1,000 passengers per hour.
The area of the terminal will be 18,500 sq m, with six gates and 5 jetbridges.
Since December 17, 2001, Zvartnots Airport has been managed under a contract with Armenian International Airports, owned by Eduardo Eurnekian, Argentina.
