Sep 28, 2006 (newstodate): By next week, Finnair's board will decide on plans for a new cargo terminal at Helsinki Vantaa Airport.
According to industry sources, Finnair's cargo volumes are now close to the 150,000 tonnes design capacity of the existing cargo terminal, driving the new project to secure capacity to handle the airline's annual growth in cargo volumes by plus-10 percent.
The planned project will require investments at around 100 mio euro.
