Sep 12, 2006 (newstodate): As airlines announce plans for introducing passengers' use of mobile phones onboard aircraft in flight, the issue of security seems to attract scanty attention only.
-Upon request by newstodate I have asked our security specialist for comments, but neither he, nor I to really understand the question, says Thorbjorn Ancker, Danish CAA communications director.
-As passengers and cargo loads are security screened before admittance into the aircraft we do not see any risk of mobile phones being used as detonators or other abuses, he says.
