Sep 8, 2006 (newstodate): The Kyrgyz airline Altyn Air is in the market to acquire western-built aircraft.
It is currently seeking dry lease, to be followed by acquisition, of a Boeing 757 aircraft, otherwise operating a fleet comprising TU-134, TU-154 and AN-24 aircraft.
The carrier, founded in 2001, has earlier announced plans to start operations on a new route between Bishkek and Moscow Domodedovo Airport.
