Aug 8, 2006 (newstodate): Inaugurated in May this year, Copenhagen Airport's new cargo terminal WFS is now rapidly expanding its airline customer base.
Starting in May with Delta Air Lines and Continental Airlines, WFS also took in KLM Cargo from August 1, with KLM Cargo's trucking to be added from October 10.
-From September 1 we will be handling Air France Cargo, followed, from September 6, by Air China and Alitalia Cargo, says Marc Claesen, WFS manager Benelux who is also temporarily managing the Copenhagen facility in the setup phase.
-WFS also handles Leisure Cargo and Norwegian, and we are proud to have been designated by SkyTeam as the preferred cargo terminal at Copenhagen Airport.
With these new customers at the gate, WFS that is currently employing some 25 staff is now recruiting more people to secure 24/7 operations.
