Aug 2, 2006 (newstodate): Serbia's Belgrade Airport is currently negotiating the final details on the construction by the American company DynCorp of a new air cargo complex.
Work on the draft agreement is a continuation of the MoU between the parties, signed in January this year.
In 2005 the airport generated a modest total of 8,000 tonnes of cargo, but since then volumes have been steadily growing, and a massive increase is expected in the future.
DynCorp originally won the tender in February, 2005, but the outcome was later disputed by Swiss-Israeli company Swissport and Angel.
