Aug 4, 2006 (newstodate): Dnipropetrovsk-based Ukrainean airline Dniproavia has filed a suite against Ukraine's State Service for Aviation for failing to support its rights and favoring Lufthansa on air services between the two countries.
The carrier had planned for a major expansion in its German services but has instead been barred from obtaining slots from the German Luftfahrt Bundesamt .
This, claims Dniproavia, is not in line with the content of the air services agreement between the two countries, in force since March 15, 1999.
