Aug 25, 2006 (newstodate): Moscow Domodedovo International Airport has become certified to handle the BAC 1-11.
The certification is required after Altyn Air's plans to launch regular services on the route between Bishkek and Moscow Domodedovo with BAC 1-11 aircraft.
In 2005 Domodedovo airport was certified to receive Fokker 100 and Fokker 70 and their modifications as well as ATR-42, Airbus A-300, A-340 and, from April this year, SAAB-2000 and AVRO RJ-85.
