Aug 3, 2006 (newstodate): Wroclaw Copernicus Airport has announced the winner of a tender to design its new passenger termninal.
Selected among some 100 international participants, JSK Architekci Sp. z o.o has been selected to prepare the final project of the new terminal together with the infrastructure.
The new terminal will be designed to handle seven millions passengers, and its first phase designed for two million passsengers is to be finished in 2009.
The project assumes the extension of the runway to 3,000 meters, the aprons and the taxiways.
The category of navigation equipment will be upgraded as well.
