Aug 16, 2006 (newstodate): Despite the general weakeing of Russia's air cargo market, Moscow Domodedovo Airport claims a solid increase in volumes in 2006.
During January-June the airport generated a total of 58,641 tonnes of cargo, up eight percent on last year's 54,273 tonnes.
While comparable figures from Moscow's two other international airport, Sheremetyevo and Vnukovo, are not currently available, the assumption is that Moscow Domodedovo has probably gained in market share.
