Aug 10, 2006 (newstodate): Sweden's Malmo Sturup Airport continues to grow in cargo volumes.
During the first six months of this year the airport generated a total of 17,384 tonnes of cargo, up 13.6 percent on last year's 15,303 tonnes.
Since March this year, an MD-11F from Transmile has operated a weekly flight from Shanghai to Malmo Sturup that is now constructing a new air cargo terminal to be ready by spring or summer, 2007.
