Aug 2, 2006 (newstodate): The Russian airline Sakhalinskie Aviatrassy Airlines, SAT, has decided to add a second Boeing 737-200 to its fleet.
The aircreaft will be taken on a lease contract with a US aircraft leasing company, and follows on the lease of the airline's first Boeing 737-200 in August 2005.
The carrier will deploy the new aircraft on routes to Japan and Korea as well as on domestic flights to Khabarovsk and Vladivostok.
Sakhalinskie Aviatrassy Airlines is member of the expanding Russian airline alliance, AiRUnion also comprising Omskavia, KrasAir, Sibaviatrans, Samara Airlines, and Domodedovo Airlines.
