Jul 3, 2006 (newstodate): The Russian carrier Rossiya, merging with St Petersburg's Pulkovo Airlines, has inked an order for 10 RRJ aircraft, the Russian Regional Jet.
The airline also says it will receive a further six RRJ aircraft via federal budget financing.
During 2009-2010 the airline will also acquire four TU-214, and one IL-96.
Rossiya currently operates a fleet of 16 aircraft, while the merger with Pulkovo will bring in another batch of 43 aircraft.
