Jul 3, 2006 (newstodate): The Polish airline Sky Express has received its fourth SAAB 340A aircraft.
Till the delivery of its latest aircraft, Sky Express, based at Warsaw, has been dedicated to cargo operations for UPS and TNT with its three SAAB 340 QC aircraft, but the airline is now also in the passenger business, operating for the virtual airline Direct Fly that offer regular domestic and international flights from a number of Polish airports, bypassing the Warsaw hub.
In addition to the SAAB 340, the carrier also operates six LET 410 aircraft.
