Jul 4, 2006 (newstodate): Latvian carrier airBaltic's current lack of aircraft capacity is to be remedied by the lease of two Boeing 737-500 aircraft from this autumn.
The carrier is currently operating a Moldovian Airlines fokker 100 on a short-term lease to cope with the summer peak demand for air traffic.
The first of the two additioal Boeing 737 aircraft will arrive tale this summer, with the second to follow by November, sources say.
