Jun 30, 2006 (newstodate): The Samara-based ZAO Aviakor-Aviation aircraft manufacturing plant will deliver six new aircraft in 2006.
Deliveries will comprise three new TU-154 aircraft, and three AN-140 aircraft.
The factory also plans to perform 10 upgrade programs on TU-154 aircraft, including four to be fitted with high-level airnav systems like the one delivered earlier this month to Kuban Airlines,equipped with new flight navigation systems meeting RNP-1 standards, and new silent engines to meet ICAO Chapter 3 requirements.
The carrier has just received the second of these upgraded TU-154 aircraft from Aviakor.
