Jun 22, 2006 (newstodate): In May, the Moscow Vnukovo-basd Russian airline Atlant-Soyuz doubled its cargo volumes againat last year.
In total the carrierl iifted 2,592 tonnes of cargo, up 100.7 percent on last year's 1,292 tonnes.
Atlant-Soyuz plans to build its freighter fleet to a total of 16 aircraft by 2008, including one IL-96-300, two IL-96-400T, four AN-124-100, one AN-124-100M, two TU-204C, and six IL-76 freighters.
