Jun 16, 2006 (newstodate): The US, Romanian joint venture carrier Jetran, based at Bucharest Baneasa Airport, has added a sixth MD-82 aircraft to its fleet.
The carrier offers charter operations for a range of customers in Europe and Africa, as well as UN and other organisations.
Jetran Air is JAR OPS 1 approved for flight operations and JAR-145 approved for line-maintenance, with a team comprising 17 captains, 30 first officers, 30 flight attendants and 30 mechanics.
