Jun 7, 2006 (newstodate): St Petersburg's Pulkovo Airport can be privatised by next year already.
This was confirmed by the Russian minster of transportation during a visit to the city.
Little detail on the privatisation process has yet been revealed, but the St Petersburg city administration will prepare for the documents to be ready by the end of this year, and will probably take a stake in the airport alongside its current state owner.
The city of St Petersburg will also finalise af 20-years business plan for the airport specifying areas and needs for foreign and domestic investments.
