Jun 26, 2006 (newstodate): Palanga, Lithuania, turned out to be a brief adventure for the Hungarian low cost operator WIZZ Air.
The company has announced its decision to stop services between Palanga and Warsaw, Poland from September 8.
Services to Palanga were inaugurated on December 1, 2005, with A320 aircraft, and the carrier also planned to add flights between PAlanga and Malmo Sturup Airport, Sweden this spring, but cancelled the plans before starting up.
Below-budget market demands prompted the decision to leave Palanga.
