During 2005, Korean Air recorded 7.982 billion FTK, securing the prime ranking.
Korean Air attained the top position for the first time in 2004 and has consistently been one of the world's top three freight carriers since 1993.
Second came Lufthansa Cargo as the only Western top-5 cargo carrier, followed by Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific, and Taiwan's China Airlines.
