Jun 19, 2006 (newstodate): The Serb airport Beograd Nikola Tesla and the Turkish Company TEKNOTES Technological Plants Inc have signed an agreement for joint participation in the tender for construction of an international airport at Ramat Timna, Eilat, Israel.
Under the agreement, TEKNOTES will lead and coordinate all technical and commercial negotiations with Israeli Airport Authority, while JP Aerodrom "Nikola Tesla" will prepare the required tender documentation.
If the Israeli Airport Authority accepts the joint project, Nikola Tesla will provide operative logistic support, making available its team of experts and know-how from airport terminal operation.
The new airport at Ramat Timna will have a 3,00 m runway, and the total project is planned to be completed by the end of 2008.
