Jun 8, 2006 (newstodate): The privatisation procedure for 99.99 percent of Bulgaria Air has now been announced, while a tender deadline is still not published.
Bulgarian and EU strategic investors with revenues from aviation service of at least euro 150 million for the past two fiscal years, and at least 750,000 million annual passengers during the last two years are eligible to take part in the tender.
Bidders must also not sell off any equity for a period of five years, and the Bulgarian state will retain a golden share in the company.
Plans are that a new owner will be found before the end of this year.
