Jun 30, 2006 (newstodate): Romanian carrier Carpatair has received its 12th SAAB 2000 aircraft, now operated on the carrier's new route between Timisoara and Paris.
Initially, the route is served on a thrice-weekly basis, but plans are to expand to six weekly rotations if the market so demands.
Earlier this year, the carrier opened a new route to Frankfurt, complementing its flights to Munich.
In 2007 Carpatair will start operations on a route to London Stansted, using Fokker 100 aircraft.
