Jun 26, 2006 (newstodate):During the first five months of this year, the Russian airline KrasAir saw its cargo volumes up five percent.
The carrier has thus been increasing its cargo volumes continuously through the first months of this year, earlier reporting a four percent increase during January-April.
During January-May the carrier lifted a total of 5,555 tonnes of cargo, with a tonnage of 1,225 tonnes in May alone.
Its home base, Krasnoyarsk Airport generated a total of 5,277 tonnes of cargo during the same period, unchanged against last year.
KrasAir is a leading member of the Russian airline alliance, AiRUnion comprising Omskavia, KrasAir, Sibaviatrans, Samara Airlines, Domodedovo Airlines, and Sakhalinskiye AviaTrassy.
