Jun 14, 2006 (newstodate): Airbus is keeping its cards close to the body when it comes to details about the A350 long haul aircraft.
-We have a good product, but we listen to our customers and to the market. If they want something even better, we will review all options, said Gustav Humbert, Airbus president and CEO at the ongoing Airbus Technical Press Briefing at Toulouse.
Beyond that he refused to add any further details or comments on press reports on major changes to the project that has so far failed to catch up with its boeing contender, the 787 Dreamliner.
-After talking to customers and debating the issue at the board to reach a decision, we may probably be able to present the case at the coming Farnborough Airshow, he said.
