May 23, 2006 (newstodate): West Air Sweden has been announced the winner of the tender for Post Norway's postal flights.
The contract, worth some NOK200 mio, runs for three years with provisions for a further two-year extension.
The tender drew bids from 11 airlines, including SAS Braathens that held the earlier contract expiring from October this year.
The post flights network comprises 11 routes to be served by West Air Sweden. Volumes are around 60 tonnes per day.
