May 2, 2006 (newstodate): Sofia Airport's construction costs are expected to exceed even revised budgets.
The Kuwait-based company that is building the new runway of the Sofia International Airport has reportedly warned that it will need more money to finish the job, and the airport is also in a row with the Austrian contractor, Strabag over the costs of repairing the roof of the new passenger terminal that collaped last year.
The runway should have been ready by April this year, but the deadline has been pushed to November, 2006 - so far.
